Meet the teacher!Hello my wonderful Middle School Parents and Students,
I am absolutely thrilled and incredibly privileged with this opportunity that I have to teach children music in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights District. I am so passionate about using music to connect with one another and to create a safe environment and a loving community among the performers in the classroom and the audience that we will share our music with. I am excited to meet each and every one of you and we will have an incredible year! -Miss Andrea Snitzer |
Who is she? |
Miss Andrea Snitzer was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Throughout her life, she was active in the music community as well as in the athletic community. Whether she was performing in plays, musicals, and operas; Taking voice lessons and performing as a solist; Going to states for track in the 4x800; Playing volleyball, snowboarding, horseback-riding, track, and softball; volunteering for organizations to help children in need, Andrea is committed to whatever she puts her heart to 100%.
Miss Snitzer attended college at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH where she earned her BME (Bachelor of Music Education). Music became a very important part of her life. But she found another passion: to change the way children perceive the world and the humans that live in it. Miss Snitzer believes that music draws humans together into a loving community. Music is meant to draw people together. The solace and joy that music brings into our hearts is meant to be shared as a part of something that is bigger than you and me! Accepting the job of Choral Teacher at the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School allowed Miss Snitzer to be a part of the kind of community that she believes in. She is excited for this new adventure in her life and is looking forward to many memories, laughs, cries, and friendships that will come of it. |
